Meet the Staff | Long's Auto Place | St. Paul, MN

Jim and his father Tom Long started Long's Auto Place in 1981 as a wholesale dealership for Long's Cadillac. Over 37 years later, Jim has made Long's Auto into one of the most reputable pre-owned car dealerships in the Twin-Cities. Jim enjoys working at Long's with his whole family in Connie, Caitlin, and Justin. If Jim is not found shaking hands or story telling at Long's you may find him behind a boat barefoot water skiing, flying planes, or spending quality time with the family.

'There is no place like home'. Justin has had the pleasure of growing up at Long's Auto with his father and Long's Auto founder, Jim Long. During his youth, Justin worked at Long's as a Lot Man until attending university at Minnesota State and HAN in the Netherlands. After working stints in Amsterdam (NL), Helsinki (FI), and Vail (CO), Justin found himself back home working with the family. Justin enjoys his work at Long's Auto doing anything that needs doing but his favorite duty is helping find customers their ideal pre-owned vehicle! If he is not in the office you may find him on a bike, water ski, or seeking thrill through almost any sport.

Tim is the finance "Wizard" of Long's Auto. Tim has worked in the auto industry for the last 21 years. All 21 years in FINANCE too! If you are looking for more information on a personal auto loan, Tim is your man! Tim started with Long's in the beginning of December of 2017. When he is not working for Long's customers, he is spends his time with his family which includes 6 kids aged 19 to 31!!!
